Glass beads are still placed in a row on “klauče”. Only when dividing them, will it turn out whether they were blown correctly at the beginning. If not, many of them will pop and all previous steps will be spoiled.
Beads exceeding 10 mm are cut “by the machine”. A rotating wheel divides one by one. Smaller beads are cut by hand using special small knives because they would pop. The bead neck is cut open and the bead is easily pulled away. The big advantage is that the beads are placed in a row and can be cut in bigger parts. Instead of five separate beads to be strung one by one, one longer bead with five marbles will be strung at once. This makes it possible to create even complex and spatial shapes.
